Meet The Staff

Rabbi Arieh
Rabbi Arieh Raichman grew up in Houston, Texas and studied at the famous Torah Day School run by Chabad of Texas. He continued his education at Yeshivas in Brazil, Argentina, Israel and the USA. During the summer months he would direct camps and assist communities across the world ranging from Mexico all the way to Croatia. In 2007, he received his bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey. He then went to Israel and became a certified Mohel studying with the Famous Jerusalem Mohel –Yehuda Giat. In October of 2009, he and his wife and son, Mendele moved to Manaus to open the first Beit Chabad in the Amazon. |
Rebbetzin Dvorah Lea
Dvorah Lea Raichman grew up in Belem, Brazil where her parents direct the Chabad Activities. After graduating from Gani Talmud Torah in S. Paulo, she continued her studies at the Bais Chaya Mushka Seminary in Montreal, Canada and majored in both early childhood and elementary school education. During the summer months, Dvorah Lea was Head Counselor of Camp Gan Israel day camp in Costa Rica. She has taught in Hebrew and Day Schools throughout the New York area. |
Mendele
Mendele Raichman was born in Belem, Para and with only six months moved to Manaus. He is the charmer making anyone in any situation smile at seeing him in action. |
Chana Noa
Chana Noa Raichman although she is just three, she speaks fluently Portuguese, English, Hebrew, and Yiddish. |
Levi Yechiel Menashe
Levi Yechiel Menashe Raichman is starting to communicate verbally and motivating people to grow in their Judaism. |
Chaim Dovid Yona
He inspires people to keep on growing with the baby steps that he takes.
